One of the most difficult decisions of my life has defined who I am today.  In 2019, I made the not so easy choice of closing the doors to my very own law firm. I was proud of it. I took the plunge right out of law school. By 2019, my law firm had started to gain traction and was growing each year. My firm helped people with all types of legal claims (contract disputes, criminal defense, family law, traffic, and even some personal injury cases). At the time, my wife was pregnant with our third child. I knew I needed more stability for myself and most importantly, for my family. There was only one place in my mind to go…

I wanted to be in the courtroom. A personal injury trial practice was the only landing spot in my mind. It was a chance to stand up for what is right and to be bold for someone else who needs it most. This was the passion that drove me to law school in the first place. Finney Injury Law was the landing spot. I have not looked back since.

Today, what I find most profound about my work is the pure human connection. I describe it as a unique opportunity to parachute into the lives of those who trust me to help them through the most daunting times. Every single one of my clients did not choose to be thrust into the position of needing to hire a lawyer. My obligation to guide them through this process is one I take very seriously. I am blessed with the chance everyday to impact someone’s life in a positive way. This is what makes me proud when one of my children asks me what I did at work that day.

The human connection in my work is the motivating factor in all aspects of everything I do. It grounds me. It is my why. In the roller coaster ride of helping a plaintiff in a personal injury claim, a reminder of my why makes it all worth it.

It is my hope that this relationship does not stop after a settlement or a trial verdict. I love to receive a text or a call from a former client about an update in their life or a referral of a friend or family member.

My passion is to be that calming presence and advocate for you when you and your family need it most. In your time of need, I know I can help. You deserve a genuine and honest human being to guide you to justice. I pride myself on you calling me “Alex” instead of your “lawyer.”One day I will get back into racing and tinkering on cars. For years before the busy days of being a plaintiff’s lawyer, father, and husband, I built and competed in my own drift car. When I am not helping others, I spend my time with my wife and five children. Weekends range from fun around the house to all day adventures or last minute trips.

If you or a loved one are in need—my line and attention are ready.
