When people describe me, the word “safe” often comes up. Friends say that others feel a sense of security and calm in my presence, which I think is one of the best compliments.

I’m at a stage in life where I only commit to things that bring me joy or a sense of purpose. If it doesn’t align with those values, I move on.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about sand volleyball—playing from April through October. It’s all about fun, not competition. I love visiting the beach and could probably live in flip-flops year-round, if it weren’t for the St. Louis winters! I also enjoy being creative. One of my goals for the next year or two is to build a “she shed”—a space for quiet reflection, meditation, and creative projects.

Cooking and baking are another big part of my life. I love preparing meals for family and friends, often with a glass of wine in hand. I don’t follow recipes exactly, it’s more about intuitive cooking. I’ve been called the “hostess with the mostess,” and I appreciate that title!

I’m also a fan of documentaries, especially those focused on science and health. Healing with frequencies is an area that fascinates me. I may not have all the answers, but I’m always eager to learn.

My family, human and fur babies alike mean the world to me. They are a significant source of joy and inspiration.

Leadership has been a part of my journey from the start. My first job at St. Louis Bread Co. almost led me to a managerial position, but I had other plans. After high school, I became an esthetician and worked in a day spa, even doing makeup for the Rams cheerleaders. Later, when my kids were younger, I went back to school and became a paralegal.

Now, with over a decade of experience, I’m the Senior Litigation Paralegal at the firm. This role gives me a deep sense of purpose, as helping others has been my goal since childhood.

I like to think I have the wisdom of an adult paired with the childlike wonder to always keep learning and growing. My attitude has been that you can’t control what happens around you, but you can control how you respond. I choose to be a loving, positive influence on the world.
